Mr. Donovan leads as MountainStar Partners’s Director of Operations. As the Director of Operations, Mr. Donovan is responsible for the growth and analysis of MountainStar’s diverse operating companies ranging from real estate investing companies to orthodontic consulting companies. Mr. Donovan joined MountainStar Partners in 2014 as a Senior Financial Analyst applying his science and accounting background to analyze venture capital proposals, assess real estate investments, document research projects, and weigh portfolio risk and allocation. Soon after joining the MountainStar Team, Mr. Donovan started MountainStar’s Internship Program that partners with the University of North Florida’s Osprey Financial Group and the Taylor Leadership Institute.
Prior to joining the MountainStar Team, Mr. Donovan conducted research as a scientist in the R&D division of Vistakon, the vision care subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ). Mr. Donovan graduated from the University of Florida with his Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Biology. Additionally, he also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of North Florida. His favorite moments come from spending time with his friends and family, coaching youth lacrosse and volunteering with the MaliVai Washington Kids Foundation. He also enjoys reading books, listening to podcasts, live music and extreme sports.
